Resumo:
As envolventes exteriores verticais dos edifícios desempenham um papel, muito importante, na protecção do espaçoTnterior utilizado e no seu ciclo de vida. A sua degradação é devida, frequentemente, à falta de conhecimento, de informação disponível e de comunicação dos diferentes actores que intervêm nas fases de elaboração e de utilização de um edifício. As falhas daí resultantes são, em grande parte, da área do conforto higro-térmico. As soluções escolhidas para a resolução desses problemas, devem assentar em metodologias de investigação e faz sentido poder haver uma estrutura básica do processo de Investigação. Indicam-se duas soluções para a resolução dessas falhas. (Alberto Raes Pinto)

Abstract:
The exterior of buildings are very important because they have a vital function regarding the protection of their interior space and in their life cycle. Frequently, the degradation of the external walls is due to the lack of knowledge, to the lack of information available and the communication of different actors which Interfere in the use and building process. The anomalies defects and faults are mainly of the higrothermic comfort area. To the reduction of this problems, the solutions chosen, should be based in investigation methodologies and make sense should have a basic framework of the investigation process. Two solutions are refereed to the resolution of these faults. (Alberto Raes Pinto)
